First date questions — what exactly you should ask and why?

Breaking the ice on a first date is one of the most difficult jobs for most people. This is the reason most people start preparing for the first date weeks before the event actually occurs.

Have you noticed that the traffic is getting worse day by day here?

This is another simple question that can invite a good conversation.  Moreover, this question will help you to gain insight as to whether she owns a car, the type of job she has, the mode of transportation she uses, how long she travels each day.  Moreover, by answering this question she may give enough hints about what exactly she likes and what not.

What profession you are in? Do you enjoy your work?

Now, unless you are sure that the person you have met doesn’t do anything to make a living, this question would be a good option.  Everyone would like to discuss work, the kind of problems she faces or the dream job she would like to have.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Nearly everyone has a hobby that he or she pursues whenever there is a spare time.  There is nobody that would hate speaking about the hobbies he or she pursues.

Do you have siblings?

This may seem to be quite personal but this would depend on how much time you have already spent with your date asking questions.  If you have already known her personally and she is comfortable answering your questions, then this question would be a perfect one to ask.

What type of qualities are you looking for in a relationship?

Now anybody would like to answer this question.  The answer would also let you know about the expectations your first date has for Mr. Right.

Keep your sense of humor and common sense alive.  Have something to eat so that either of you won’t start biting the nails when you are done with your first date questions.  Be spontaneous and playful.
